this works well with the 360, for sure.
as far as the original xbox controller breakaway port, not so much... they're incredibly close but microsoft keyed them differently. since they're both USB based controllers i'm sure some clever hackery or soldering would yield the desired result.
EDIT : the reason i posted this review is because the pinout on the breakaway looks almost EXACTLY like the original xbox's... which is why i bought it hoping that i'd be able to use it since they're both USB based. just don't think that it's a possibility, though you could possibly just do some custom wiring to convert this.
