Video Game Reviews of Prince of PersiaCustomer Review: Fast delivery and in great condition Summary: 4 StarsTotally satisfied with this transaction! I received it quick and it was in great shape--both the game and the artbook! Not a single scratch. I've already played through it and it works wonderfully!
Customer Review: Great if a bit tedious Summary: 4 StarsLoved the old Prince of Persia Games with the rewind feature... this game omits that in favor of a female sidekick who literally will NOT let you DIE EVER. It is a good and bad thing, while with rewind you could just go back a little, with Elika sometimes she takes you back a LOT, ALWAYS to the last place you were on solid ground... which sometimes is frustratingly far. It is a fun game though that leaves you wanting more and for 800 xbox points you can have JUST THAT with an Epilogue story of Prince of Persia. (Of which I have yet to purchase so.. alas, no review.)
Customer Review: good game but not for everyone Summary: 5 Starsthe game look great and running and jumping along wall is very fun. there is only a very few enemies in the game and no death. this game is for players who looking for more of a puzzle adventure game than a fight action game.
Customer Review: one of the best games of 08 Summary: 5 StarsSome people hated this game some thought it was ok and some loved it I for one loved it. Sure it was easy it was one of those games you can play and just have fun enjoy the scenery and not want to throw your controller at the wall after a few minutes of play. I heard Some people had trouble with the warrior and it ruined the game for them come on people this was the easiest boss I have ever fought I mean all you have to do is throe him off the cliff and push a few buttons how hard is that really. Any way if you want a great game with great graphics and a good AI companion get this game now. JUST BUY IT ALREDY!!!!
Customer Review: Beautiful graphics and presentation...repetitive gameplay Summary: 3 StarsGraphics are beautiful, much like a watercolor painting...gameplay is repetitive and uninspired. The things you can make your character do (jump/run on walls, scale tall rocks and structures) are very impressive and relatively simple to perform but you do them so often they become repetitive and lose their allure. The fighting system is pretty uninspired as well. It's halfway between a turn based RPG and an Action/adventure game. The reason I say this is because your actions happen in real time but if you run up and attack your enemy, you will most certainly get the crap kicked out of you. You have to sit and block the initial attack your enemy delivers before you can start unleashing devastating combos on him. The combos themselves are pretty cool, but it leaves you feeling like "I don't really know how I did that, but it was cool" because of the inconsistent and erratic movements of your character. It makes it difficult to actually time your button mashing and feel like you have control of your character. Also, there's no level up system so the character you start with is the one you stay with. I wouldn't recommend this game; it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I played it for a couple days (for a total of about 6 hours) and ended up selling it because I got bored. If you're interested rent it first and play it for a couple days before you buy it...you'll know by then whether its something you want to put time into or not.
