This headset does exactly what you'd expect it to do, but it's ten dollars cheaper than the Microsoft headset, and a good deal better. Voices sound clearer in this headset than I found them in microsoft's, and it's sturdy construction feels more solid than the one that comes with the console. The microphone seems to work well, as I have no problem being heard, and the volume/mute clip is functional, if not as conveniently placed as on the original model. If your original headset breaks, as mine did, this is the best replacement.Customer Review: This headset should be the standard for the xbox 360

I'll keep this simple, it is after all just a headset.
I bought two, to replace my third set of microsoft headsets.
They are by far sturdier, more comfortable, and seem more durable.
The volume adjuster is in a comfortable position.
The sound quality on both ends of a conversation is very clear.
They are half the price of the standard microsoft headsets.

First off let me say that this headset is WAY more durable than the one Microsoft one. Second, the audio quality is also a little better and it looks cooler too. Only problem I had at first was getting comfortable with it but you get used to it after an hour or so. Overall great buy for great price. Buy this if you don't want that cheap Microsoft one anymore.
