I bought two of these and have been happy with my purchase. Even though I play at ridiculous volumes, the mic only picks up sound when I speak. Steer clear of this headset. It simply stopped working after about 6 months. Other headsets at the same price-point offer lifetime guarantees. This one only offers a lifetime of pain and aggravation. Customer Review: way better than the official headset.

This headset is much better than the one that is actually sold by Microsoft, in my opinion and also a better deal money-wise. It is much sturdier and lasts longer, the sound quality is great also. plus its way cheaper so its a win all the way.Customer Review: Good basic headset

After having and MS headset go out I went with this one. It seems to be sturdier than the MS versions. There are no frills though. It is just a basic headset. The mic might even be a little less sensitive than the MS headset. This is fine if you're playing a a loud room. But if you're playing at night and don't want to wake the family it doesn't seem to pick up quieter voices.
Overall I gave it 4 stars and would easily recommend it. It is just a basic headset though. So don't expect anything different.

The headset is inexpensive but works great. If you aren't looking to spend a lot of money and just want something simple that works, then this headset is excellent. Some people say that it hurts their head but I haven't found that it hurts until like after four hours of wearing it or something and then I'll just switch it to the other side and it feels fine.
