When I first bought this Xbox 360 wired headset, I noticed that it was much more durable, comfortable, and overall better than the default wireless headset that comes with the console. However, after the first month, the speaker on the headset cut out. My friends told me they could still hear me because I could speak through the microphone, but I had to listen through my TV speakers to hear their voices. A week later, I purchased another one of this product and sure enough, after less than one month, the headset speaker cut off, and I could still talk through it. If it hadn't broken the two times bought a different one of these headsets, I would have been happy with it. In short, buyer beware.Customer Review: Great Product

This Mic is great for anyone...I had this mic for over 3 years! And not once did I have problems with this mic :)
Pros: Strong,Durable,Great Sound Quality, Voice on other end is perfect,Comfortable, Nice Design I love the hard plastic, Overall very pleased with this product.
Cons: The Wired part of the Mic will get annoying at points but can easily be ignored I just wish it was wireless.

After about 3 failed microsoft headsets, I decided to pick this one up. I have to say that after 8 months of use, it's still working great...even with a little abuse. It seems to be far better quality than the Microsoft ones; only negative aspect is that it tends to get too close to my mouth and my friends sometimes complain about hearing me breathe. Still far better than the one that comes with the Xbox, so definatly worth 10 bucks
