I don't have this product but I have the intercooler TS for xbox FAT. I can tell you that this thing is the same idea and worse. First off, the TS killed my xbox 360 in less than 10 months and I know the TS did it because of what the product did.
Now for the STS, it's the same idea as the TS, it covers up the fans of the system with STS's fans. What's the point to doing that? I can tell you that all the STS is doing is sucking out air from the already blew out air from the xbox. Why do you need a device that will just suck and blow out air that already been blew out? That STS isn't going to suck out even more air from within the xbox. You think that device is more powerful then the xbox's own fans? How can it be? It's running on usb power?
Running on USB power!!! That bring me to my next point. What the heck? At least the TS had it's own power supply. The STS uses power from a usb port from the system which draws more power from the system. When that happends it makes the system work harder and at the end gets hotter, but wait...didn't we not want the system to get hotter? That's right we wanted it to get cooler not hotter!!! This thing is actually doing what it is not supposed to do.
Now you may tell me that it's actually blowing out cool air, I laugh at that thought. I can tell you why it's blowing out cool air. It's blowing out cool air because it's holding all the hot air inside the system first and by the time it shoots out the hot air it's becomes cool air. There was another user that said that the bottem of the system feels extremely hot. Well that's because all that hot air is trapped inside the system until it can be slowly moved out from the STS. Most of the hot air is kept in the device too but that's not good because it's heating up the xbox as well.
Finally, this thing will just stay on and keep the system cool after the system has turned off, right? Well it doesn't. It will stay on but it will turn off after a little bit and then you feel how hot the system still is. All the hot air stays in the system longer because the STS is coving the vents to letting the hot air out. So going to damage the system that way.
If you still want to buy it, then go ahead. But, don't tell me I didn't warn you.
