I was a bit skeptical when I bought this. I got it as a gift for my husband who doesn't like the plug in headset because it gets in the way. I've seen a lot of reviews that were not great but I still got it and I'm glad I did. The speaker is really good you can hear people better than on the plug in ones. The range is better than expected and it really keeps a good charge.
I don't like that it picks up a lot of back noise so you can't have your game up as loud as you could with the plug in ones. They really need to sell more ear pieces. Just having the two sizes doesn't really allow you to find the one that fits right.
Bottom line is if you don't want a cord getting in your way this is a good way to go. The benefits out way the cons.

This is my second Xbox 360 Wireless Headsetand I love both of them. They work great, have a long battery life and are wireless.

I purchased this product because of the issues I was experiencing with my default Xbox 360 wired headset.
The product proved very convenient the first week or so I used it, but not too long into ownership and the headset began creating significant problems. Other Xbox Live players were unable to hear me at times due to headset "lag" and the headset just not giving voice feedback at all.
Other problems I had, although minor, was that the headset did not feel very secure on my ear. The product ships with two different size ear clips, and even after trying both it still gave me the feeling that it would slip off.
I have gone back to my wired headset because of the troublesome issues I encountered when using the wireless one. Despite its wired status and requirement of plug-in, it is far more convenient in dealing with that rather than continuously turning the wireless headset on and off to fix the "lag".

Alright the Xbox 360 headset is great the first couple of months but then it starts to lose battery life quicker and eventually won't cut on for me, and many of other people have had this problem..buuuuuut it is good while it lasts =).
