I was pleasantly surprised to find that along with the VGA cable they included and RCA-to-headphone adapter so you don't have to go buy one. They also included a VGA male/male adapter so you can attach multiple VGA cords together if the one they give you isn't long enough.
Can't go wrong purchasing the real deal from Xbox. Yeah, sometimes it's a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I originally had my Xbox 360 hooked up through component but my HDTV only has space for one component connection and I needed to hook up my cable box to it so I decided to purchase the VGA cable. I have an Olevia 232T and I think the image is clearer and brighter through the VGA cable than through component. I know some people complain about "wash-out" but I felt the image was much more vibrant and vivid through VGA. If you think the image is too bright, you can always turn down the brightness in the game. Great cable and great picture for the price!Customer Review: Excellent value

This package came with everything I needed to use my desktop setup with my 360. the audio and video quality are excellent and it was easy to setup. The only complaint I have is that the cable is quite short at about 3' so if your speaker input is far away from your monitor it could be a problem. The vga HD cables are the best alternative to HDMI. Full 1080p support. Full 16:10 aspect ratio support. Its great for anyone who wants the full HD experience on computer monitors. In my opinion the games actually look better when i play them on my 22" monitor than it does on my 40" TV. The older reviews talk alot about about a "washed-out" or stretched look, however as long as you have the latest free firmware (dashboard/NXE) update on your xbox 360, the picture looks clear, and very sharp. There is no washed out look, and if you play on a computer monitor, the image will display small black bars on the top and bottom of the screen to prevent stretching. They are cables are called vga cables but they display resolutions up to 1080p.
