Like Michael Kinney in his review, I don't know if they ran out of Falcon console, because I got mine on July 16th and it IS a JASPER ((adapter says 150W output and amp output is 12.1V).
I have nothing to wory about, in the first day with the console I have played for 8 hours consecutively and it was just warm.

Microsoft has made many excellent items such as computers and all sorts of stuff. Xbox 360, to me, is one of Microsofts greatest achievements! The ability to play games, music, movies, Xbox Live, and more on one console is just amazing! The Xbox 360 games are limitless and are so fun and so realistic. And with such a huge selection of them you will never run out of fun! Such games include Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, Star Wars the Force Unleashed and much, much more! Some games on Xbox 360 will not be on any other console, such as Halo 3! The Xbox 360 can also allow you to play more than 300 original Xbox games! Such games include: Halo, Halo 2, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 and much, much more! Go to www.xbox.com for more information on which Xbox games are backwards compatable. If you buy the Pro 60gb Console you can immediately play the original Xbox games on your console, where as if you buy the Pro 20gb console you have to get special memory for it. Lots of people say that the Pro 60gb Console has been fixed of the red ring of death problem. I believe that's true, because the Pro 60gb Console doesn't heat up as fast as the old ones did. But just in case, it might be best to buy an intercooler. The Xbox 360 is also more than just capable of playing games. It can play music or you can rip the CD and store the music in your hard drive! It can also play movies! The Xbox 360 is also capable of using Xbox Live. I don't have Xbox Live, but it sounds really cool and I might get it someday. HOWEVER: Xbox 360 is not for everyone. It is more for teenagers and adult gamers. There are quite a bit of E and E10+ games for Xbox 360, but the T and M games outrank them. Wii is more for children than Xbox 360 is. I wouldn't recommend getting an Xbox 360 for young children unless you think that they are mature enough to play T and M games.
The Xbox 360, to me, is also similar to the PS3. I don't really see why people fight over PS3 being better than Xbox 360 or vise versa. They're both great! They both have great games and great and unique features!
CONCLUSION: Xbox 360 is definately a great gaming system and is something to check out. It might be a bit expensive, but it is definatley worth the money!
Customer Review: Red Ring Death Warranty Randomly Not Honored!

This is a fun gaming platform, no doubt. It might not be the most powerful out there, but the game selections are great and compared to PS3 is way less expensive. And soon it will have similar abilities like the Wii has only NO console if you choose.
BUT, be prepared for the Red Rings of Death! This isn't just "old" consoles, this is ANY console. I had my first one go, still in warranty. Like Health Insurance, you THINK you're covered until you're rejected. Microsoft rejected me with a form letter specifying 15 possibly reasons. None were checked off, and to my knowledge, none were true. I never "tampered" with my system.
So it was either whine and fight customer service, all the while waiting many MORE weeks, or else get another.
For now, I chose to get another. BUT you have to be willing to just throw 200 bucks down the tube for nothing.
IF it happens to my current one, I'll ditch Xbox altogether and go PlayStation 3 which has been showing off some amazing titles at the latest E3.
PlayStation 3 is a more powerful system, but it hasn't been utilized yet. In this regard, Xbox 360 has the upper hand.
On a last note, the old VGA looks terrible, so make sure you have modern connections or else expect weird "noise" lines.
Microsoft expected to lose 1 Billion from Red Light problems and it's currently on it's way to 1.5 Billion. So I'm sure I got turned away as part of an active campaign to limit losses. Again like Health Care claims. There's an expectation that 10% of people like me won't fight it and just move on.
Microsoft, you should honor your warranties!

had one for 6 months from dec 2009 , it started to make a loud it RROD, we moved, microsoft won't accept international warranty.
sold it for parts, and bought a ps3, never been happier.
