This is a nicely priced alternative to AA batteries. I only have to recharge it like once every week or two weeks but it does well. It just has an annoying quirk that if you disconnect it while it's recharging and then plug it in again, it'll read it as being fully charged but that's easy to work around. It's other annoying quirk is that it takes ages to fully charge but since it doesn't have to be done every time after a gaming session, it's not too big of a hassle. If I wanted a fast charge, i'd have gotten the other charging kit =P.Customer Review: Works Great

I have had my XBox for about...4 months now. Since then I have used the batteries that came with the system and then bought rechargable batteries. But one day I had a hard time taking them out to recharge, I then heard about the batteries sometimes overheating and expanding. Eventually I got them out but I decided to get the charge and play kit. I did and its great. As we speak Im charging it on my computer.
I dont know why I didnt get this in the first place.

Works to recharge your xbox powerpacks when still in the controller, BUT will not charge them while the xbox is off. To fully recharge a pack, you have to leave the xbox on overnight, thus wasting lots of electricity.
