Well i have had this head set for a while now and works perfectly. You must have a headset makes everything funner for you and everyone else. You can chat with friends or plan out strategies in games. It still works perfectly so its a safe buy.Customer Review: Junk...most any 2.5mm headset will work though.

This is the headset that comes packaged with the console...it is junk and inevitable needs to be replaced. I found that most any 2.5mm headset will do. Currently I'm happily using a headset packaged for use with a wireless phone purchased at the local discount retailer for about $5. Whatever you do, don't buy another one of these...Customer Review: Really shoddy product

I give the headset 3 stars because when it works, it is great. However, its a matter of when/if the sucker will work that is the issue. The new "inline volume" models are even worse than the original ones that had the volume control on the plug on the controller end.
If/when it works, the sound is clear and the microphone picks up well (note to all you mouth-breathers out there!) Its just so frustrating to be unable to speak to your teammates. I would recommend a third party headset, as even the official wireless headsets have issues.

Ya when i frist got the head set the ear peice was just ewh soogy and used!!! i bought a NEW one wtf.... over all it works my old on got 'broke' Customer Review: it breaks every 3 or 4 weeks

It's a great item, if only it didn't break, sooooooooo often. This is the last one of these I will buy, and then I will get a REAL HEADSET, that lasts longer than 30 days!!!!!!!!!
