Video Game Reviews of Xbox 360 HDMI AV CableCustomer Review: Worked as expected Summary: 5 StarsDeffinetely worth getting over the standard component cables, especially if you plan on running 5.1 dolby.
Customer Review: Arrived on time, & it works. Summary: 4 StarsNot much to review here. It either works or it doesn't, its just an adapter & an HDMI cable. Instead I'll make a suggestion: Don't pay full price for this thing. I got this for like $15 on here through Direct Deals. Sure, it shows up loosely placed in a black shipping bag out of the box, but do you really need the Xbox packaging? Do yourself a favor & save the money. You can use that extra cash to put towards an overpriced Xbox hard drive!
Oh, & just in case you're confused about whats in here, its an HDMI cable & an audio adapter with both standard A/V & an optical cable input. I have the Logitech Z-5500 speakers & they don't support HDMI, so I plug them in directly to the Xbox using this adapter plus an additional optical cable. (purchased seperately).
Hope that helps.
Customer Review: HDMI=big difference Summary: 5 StarsIf you have a good TV, the standard XBOX 360 cables do just fine. However, on the same TV, if you ever chance to compare HDMI with standard cables, you'll see a clear difference. Definitely worth the buy, HDMI is a superior product.
Customer Review: Xbox HDMI cables. Summary: 3 StarsI have not been able to use these cables, I don't have an HDMI port on my Xbox 360, I thought it would convert the signal from the Xbox 360 video out to HDMI. Found out I need a digital video signal output from my Xbox 360. I have a pre-HDMI Xbox 360. Will hold on to the cables if I upgrade my Xbox.
Customer Review: Don't be suckered into buying these! Summary: 1 StarsHopefully since you are already shopping online for HDMI cables you know how inexpensive they really are. [...] sells them for a few bucks, and they are a digital product so in most cases signal degradation doesn't happen. But just shop around here on Amazon and you can find cheaper HDMI cables. If you think you need this cable for the audio out option, you don't, just break of the plastic tab that prevents you from using standard HDMI with other standard audio cables. Microsoft is just unfairly pushing its first party products and you should not have to be suckered into BS like this overpriced POS.
