Video Game Reviews of Xbox 360 Arcade [Old Version]Customer Review: Great Deal...It's a Falcon... Summary: 5 StarsGreat Deal.... Good for replace your Ring of The Deah XBOX Premium. Better than Wii, Cheaper than PS3. It's my first XBOX 360, include a 256 MB Memory Card for save your files.. If you want to play XBOX games or download content from xbox live, you'll need to buy the Premium instead. The XBOX 360 games are better than PS3. The XBOX 360 games are always XBOX 360 games. The PS3 games are XBOX 360 adapted games. Right now XBOX 360 has better graphics and its more convenient than PS3. This is the Falcon version that run cooler than the older versions = fewer Ring of The Death possibilities.
Customer Review: xbox360 Summary: 4 Starsi was very happy with the speed of my delivery but disappointed when i opened my box and found the arcade game case was broke in half as if it was stepped on and just thrown in the box.
Customer Review: XBOX 360 : HALO the only reason to buy Summary: 5 StarsI have just bought the XBOX 360 Arcade and Halo3. I also own a PS3 and PS2. Halo3 Online is an incredibly fun gaming experience. Reason enough to buy XBOX360. But, if you are deciding between systems and not going to play HALO, then PS3 beats XBOX360 in every category.
The first thing you notice with XBOX360 is the how loud the cooling fan is. Additionally, the arcade just comes with a 256MB which is about enough to just save your Profile and two game saves. Additionally, you will need to purchase an HDMI cable to get the 1080i graphics (also have to do for PS3). The XBOX 360 controller is heavier as well with batteries.
PS3's Ratchet and Clink is the most advanced graphics wise game for either system. Like Playing a PIXAR movie. Sony won the HD platform wars and will obviously be incorporating BR into future games.
Buy XBOX 360 if you want to play HALO, otherwise PS3 is the more advanced system. Also, PS3 has free online play.
Customer Review: Great System On Par With Nintendo Wii Summary: 5 StarsI finally decided to buy an XBOX 360 after almost a year having checked and re-checked reviews and the like.I was really in the middle of getting a Ps3 or the xbox 360 than low and behold a more reasonable price the arcade bundle Xbox 360 came out after a few moments I decided to go ahead and purchase the arcade bundle and have been impressed and astonished at how much the xbox truly has.I have yet to get the 20gb hard drive to go online yet but in a few months I will. The system was easily put together and plugged in ready to play it found the wireless controller just as easily on the first try.I have decided though to buy the microsoft play&charge kit as to save myself a great deal of money on batteries.I would also advise you to get the intercooler just in case you might not need it but better safe than sorry in-case the console overheats. This being all said I'm not dismissing the ps3 altogether and I'll just get this either next year or sooner so what I'm saying to you is both systems are most likely equal but go for the one you feel is most affordable to you at the time and not by nay-sayers who are trying to discredit either one.
Customer Review: Decent Upgrade Summary: 4 StarsI had an original 360 release from Nov 2005, it worked great. but I have a new TV that only accepts 1080p input through the HDMI; which why why i got this.
I just used my old hard drive, and the graphics are great. The only problem I had was with the surround sound. I use optical, because my reciever doesnt do 1080p pass through. I was just going to use the old Componenet Head Cord for audio, then HDMI for video; but to my surprise, you cant use them both at the same time because the heading is too big and covers the HDMI port. The solution was to buy a seperate peice (xbox 360 hdmi a/v cable, except i didnt use the extra hdmi cable) because it has a smaller head, and can fit both the VGA and HDMI cords at the same time.
Other than that, its quieter, and the graphics are outstanding! I didnt use the arcade games, but I imagine its a good starter xbox for people that dont plan on doing a lot of downloading.
If I had to reccommend for a more serios gamer though, spend the extra 70 bucks and get the newer xbox 360 pro with the bigger hard drive and more options for connections.
