The hard drive works and allows me to get online. 20 gb is the smallest size you can get, but I don't plan on using all that space, so I wouldn't pay additional for a larger hard drive. It arrived quickly and I've had no problems with it.

Upon receiving the hard drive i ordered through amazon from Niagara's Electronics I found that the device did not work. I emailed the company several times and it took them several days to reply, and once they did there was very little helpful information shared about company policy and or warranty info. i am in the process of sending the product back.

This is a great buy! I got the 20gb hard drive for the 360, cause I wanted something cheap that would work. I talked to other people about getting a bigger hard drive, and that only seemed necessary if I was going to put a lot of music on my hard drive, I mean a lot, a lot of video downloads, like from call of duty, or halo 3, or if I was going to copy over a game to be on the hard drive, instead of inserting the disc in every time I wanted to play halo 3 or something. Downloading any disc to the hard drive seemed really unnecessary and not worth an extra $60+. This hard drive gets the job done; I've downloaded all the call of duty map packs, as well as halo 3 map packs, gta add ons, and burnout add ons. This will get you all the map packs you need, plus any arcade games you want. If you plan on putting your games on your hard drive, or having tons of music then and videos, consider upgrading to the 60gb or higher.Xbox 360 20GB Hard Drive
