Customer Review: It's Halo but Not Bungie
Summary: 3 Stars
This is a definately must buy for any fan of the Halo Universe. The add-on to the overall Halo World is told very well and the cut scene video is amazing.
Overall the game is fun to play but there are definitely things about it that have annoyed me. On one level I didn't even know there was a time limit per say and I failed the mission because of that. On another where I was supposed to protect an item; it blows up no matter what, it is a part of the story. As for the multiplayer, I tried two times and was not able to connect to anyone. Hopefully it is a minor server issue and I will have an easier time this coming weekend. I am very much looking forward to that and I am sure it is a blast. The AI is very mediocre and can easily be trumped in skirmish mode. I tested it several times to see if one action would trigger a more competitive reaction, but there didn't seem to be one. For a game that took so long to release, it could have been more polished. This review may be on the negative side, but it is the truth. Without that polish, you can know that this was not made by Bungie.
Fun? Definitely. Halo fan? Get it. RTS fan? Only if you want a watered down RTS experience that doesn't require any thinking.

Ensemble Studios have outdone themselves on this addition to the Halo universe. The game feels like a Bungie game, harkening back to Bungie's first RTS - Myth - in terms of sheer environment and ambiance. Birds fly around the map, sound changes intensity based on proximity and direction, and the environment can be used to your advantage (and detriment, depending). The units have character flavor banter that reminds me very much of the banter heard coming out of the Marines from Halo 1 to 3, and the little touches that Ensemble has thrown in (They didn't HAVE to make the Grunt's methane packs spiral off like fireworks when you kill them, but they did, and it's awesome) just keep adding to the enjoyment I get when playing the game. The difficulty levels scale up smoothly, each one progressively harder than the last. An all around great game!Customer Review: Epic game

This game is truly amazing. If you like real time strategy games such as command and conquer then you will love this and if you like the halo series then this game is perfect for you since it uses everything from halo. Everything single thing, warthogs, marines, elephants, grunts, etc. One thing I loved about the limited edition is that you get the mythic map pack, (New halo 3 maps), graphic novel, leader cards, patch, and wraith add-on which make this game one of a kind. A must buy!!!!

I recommend this game to any one who loves halo or rts it has a decent list of achievements that range from fairly easy that you get by just playing through the fun 6 hour campaign that has very well done cut scenes to the hardest Achieve the general rank in mulitiplayer
On to the stuff that only comes in the limited editon which is a patch leader cards exclusive halo 3 maps and a unique in game wraith it all comes in a nicely sealed pack and is fun to look through also the hardcovered grapic novel which is nice all and all I recommend the limited to any halo fan

I am a semi-intense video gamer and this was my first RTS (Real Time Strategy) game and I was incredibly surprised at the quality of the game! This game completely re-writes the rts genre!. I would strongly suggest this game to anyone who enjoys the Halo Universe or RTS games. I also pre-ordered this game and haven't recieved any warthog code yet.
