Video Game Reviews of Forza Motorsport 2Customer Review: Forza Motorsport 1 1/2? Summary: 4 StarsDon't get me wrong. I love the Forza games with all my heart. Personally I love the series more than the Gran Turismo series, but this isn't much of an improvement over the first game. The interface, physics and damage are improved, but you would think the graphics would've gotten a bit crisper, with sharper textures. I would still pick this over the first Forza and Gran Turismo 4 (I don't know about GT5 though...it looks awfully awesome), but theres just things that Turn 10 could've really added and/or done to make it a whole lot better.
Customer Review: Worth every penny! Summary: 5 StarsI had heard good reviews about this game so you can imagine my excitement when a friend actually gave me a full promotional copy of it! It hasn't left my 360 since that day two weeks ago! Amazing realism, graphics and fun!
Customer Review: Forza is like an RPG Summary: 5 StarsI have stayed up late a few times trying to get a little more money for my next car. OH it is so great and as you progress the money just starts rolling in. it has been a week and I like all the settings on hard.
Customer Review: Great racing game Summary: 4 StarsIf you are looking for a good, realistic racing game on the 360, this is the one to buy. Tons of cars and tracks make the game last for hours. For an even more realistic simulation, pick up the 360 wireless wheel and pedals, they work perfectly with this game. Great game for racing fans!
Customer Review: Best Racing Game yet, BUT, "drifting" is almost impossible in this game Summary: 4 StarsI don't know if the developers of this game made it a point to make "drifting" a discouragement, but overall, the game is terrific. Drifting is possible with All Wheel Drive vehicles like the Mitsubishi EVO but if the car is Rear Wheel Drive, forget it, you'll have to slam on the breaks and make turns at SLOW speeds (despite performance suspension, sway bars and slicks as upgrades to your car). There are about 16 tracks that have a few changes with turns and routes here and there. There is indeed about 300 available cars there. The AUDIO is this games only downfall (that and not being able to drift properly to make hairpin turns rather than slamming on the breaks). After a while, every car albeit muscle, luxury, tuner that is upgraded tend to sound the SAME! You can't tell a Chevy engine between a Shelby because they both sound exactly the same and a Mazda Rotary Engine sounds exactly like a Scion TC's 4-cylinder engine in this game (and gearheads like myself know that is definitely not the case). Aside from that, this sure beats PGR4 in my opinion. Definitely worth hours of playtime!
