I havent had any problems with the game or mat. I play on wood flooring, usually without socks on and have no issues with slipping. The tutorial is easy to understand, though once you think you have "beginner" down and move up to "basic" its much more advanced. For a workout, I make SURE I am on beginner, and do the power getting for longer songs. Only downside is not being able to pause the game if you need to do anything, you just have to hop off and wait for it to fail you. Overall, Its a good time!Customer Review: Fun

I have waited forever to get a DDR game. This is my first DDR game so I do not have the opportunity to compare it to other DDR games, but I am very happy with it. The songs are fine and the player is able to change the difficulty. I enjoy this game.Customer Review: This Fails.

I got this game because I love MOST DDR games, but this was annoying. There was a huge gap between levels making it very frustrating. I got A's on Basic mode then I went to the next level and I couldn't get a D. There were a few good songs in this game, but I personally didn't enjoy most of them, they just became old fast. In the game mode I kept almost winning then I'd lose. It was so annoying. I usually love DDR games, but this one made me so mad. It was addictive and somewhat fun, but overall it wasn't a great. I wanted this game so much and at first it was fun then it got boring. Then the backgrounds where so distracting it was hard to focus. There was no way to pause it during Quest mode which made it a lot more complicated. I think that this version of DDR is not one to get, if you want it get the next one or the Wii's version. I purchased this for my two children, my son who is 12, and my daughter who is 8, and they absolutely loved it! It keeps them moving and it can even track how many calorie they have burned! We all can play as a family and that makes it more Fun! I highly recommend this game!
