Just like everyone said this is probably the better cooling stands for the 360... I think it's a MUST.
If you look at the pictures, I posted two of what I did to modify the stand. It flows MORE air and is not so loud by do so.
Cut the top of the perforated holes out and removed the plastic and fan screens on the bottom. Excellent mod! And very easy to do!
Stand rocks.

Recently I pre-ordered a game from Amazon and received a [...] towards any video game product on Amazon. I thought: "Hey, I have the Intercooler TS (which by the way, works great...about as loud as the Xbox), why not get the Intec Cooling Station so that my Xbox stays cool all the time.". So, I bought this. Paid the extra 5 bucks, got it it 5 days later and expected the worst. This thing works GREAT. It is actually quieter than the Xbox itself. However, I would note that this works a lot better with the Nyko Intercooler TS. The price averages out to be about $45, HOWEVER, if you are like me and have an Xbox that is older than 3 years, your warranty is up. If your Xbox is 3 years or more, then I would invest in making sure you don't get the RROD, which is mainly due to overheating. $45 is a not a lot of money to have confidence that your Xbox will last for a long time. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone looking to invest in a good choice for their cooling options.Customer Review: Use with Intercoller TS

The Xbox 360 Cooling Station does not do the job by itself. You must also buy the Intercooler TS; this combo will keep your Xbox running cool.

I had an over heating issue with my 360 which lead to making this purchase.
My over heating issues so far are behind me. The fans are loud (louder than the 360) is my only complaint. The lights are nothing special. But the item does as it says. No complaints. As long as I am not over heating I can handle the extra noise. A give and take.
