Customer Review: The first was better.
Summary: 3 Stars
Other than the slightly improved graphics. The first game in this series was by far a better game; there was much more variety in the missions. I can only think of maybe 5 or 6 truly unique missions in this game. Everything else is just the same mission with different scenery. I liked the fact that taking over a vehicle wasn't as easy as just pressing a single button. Another nice touch was the fact that your standing doesn't automatically go down when you kill someone from that faction. They actually have to report you first. But in the end these nice touches are not enough. The driving controls continue to be really loose and unwieldy, and aiming your weapon is just as unwieldy. And the finishing touch for this disappointing game is the final battle. It is simply reduced to a button mashing game. I didn't even have to fight through hordes of guards to get to the guy. It was truly disappointing, and we'll never know what could have been because Pandemic is now no longer.
