In short, I simply loved Fallout 3. It is a fun game that many gamers and non-gamers will learn to enjoy. The game has a great story and just hours of game play even once the main storyline is finished. Like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, every time you start a new game is a different adventure. There is just so many different possibilities you can turn your character into.
If you can not wait until October to play Fallout, then get it now. But if you are a patient guy then wait until October 13 to get the Game of the Year edition. The GOTY edition comes with all the download content that Bethesda has released throughout the year: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. These 5 add-ons will give you more hours of game play, quests and fun new weapons.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Fallout 3 is fantastic. It's a great game, engrossing story, god knows how much gameplay, and the fact of the matter is, it's far removed from oblivion. It's got it's issues. The DLC packs are a little buggy [the pitt, especially] and they have a habit of making the game freeze, but unless you turn off the autosave, it's not a big deal. All in all, Fallout 3 is well worth the money, and if you take the time to play it, it will suck you in..Customer Review: Best. Game. Ever.

Anyone who thinks its too hard or boring either is probably just really stupid.

I found myself instantly bored with this game. I like these type of games, but Fallout was just annoying and lacked fun. It has great depth and the graphics are OK. I was hoping for something on the level of Oblivion, but It didn't deliver.Customer Review: Great game that lasts forever

Fallout 3 is great, it takes place in a huge open-world wasteland DC area and has one of the best rpg systems to date. defenently a must have for xbox 360 and pc owners. not so much the ps3 as there isnt any dlc for it yet
