Video Game Reviews of Xbox 360 Guitar Hero World Tour Band BundleCustomer Review: Fun, all night long Summary: 4 StarsThis game is tons of fun. It has a great song collection, almost too much customization, and nice surprises. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Great Game But Hardware Issues Summary: 4 StarsGuitar Hero World Tour is a great game!! The sound track is really deep and has a lot of customizes that you can do with your instrument and/or character. The drums fall a little short due to some sensitivity issues. Luckily you have the option on going to Activision's website and order a free tuner for your drums that you can hook up to your computer. To bad they didn't already fix the problem since the games has been out for almost a year already. I Tuned the drums and it has improved my drum game play, but still has some minor tweaking to do because you still find yourself not hitting some of the notes. Besides that the game is great! I would recommend this to anyone, but just know in the back of your head that you might have to tweak the drums later.
Customer Review: LOVE IT!!! Summary: 5 StarsWe already had Guitar Hero 2, 3 and Aerosmith and wanted to get World Tour so all 3 members of our family could play at the same time and because we were getting bored with only being able to play the guitar. World Tour is an AWESOME game for the whole family to play. We have loads of fun playing together. It has allowed my husband and I to appreciate music from our son's generation and for him to appreciate music from our generation.
Customer Review: Drum Kit = Money Down the Drain Summary: 1 StarsPeople have already commented that the drum kit is crap, but I thought I would concur. Our red drum pad stopped working about a month after we bought the game. We returned it to Activision, and it was repaired. A couple days after we had it back, the yellow cymbal wire snapped off and we had to buy a replacement. After the wire came and my husband repaired it, he was able to play about 3 songs before the red drum pad went out again. These drums are complete garbage and we're done with them. We aren't willing to waste any more time and money trying to fix them. The game itself is pretty good, and the drums *were* a lot of fun to play, but don't waste your money on them.
Customer Review: At a discount, its worth it. Summary: 3 StarsI personally like the instruments better in this game compared to Rock Band or Rock Band 2. The song list is more pop than Rock Band if thats what you are into. I'm probably going to buy the stand-alone disc of Rock Band for the songs. The singing in this game is worst then Rock Band. I've had much more fun singing on Rock Band at a friends house. Rock Band also has more and gets more downloadable content available. I'd recommended this product if you do not have instruments yet.
