Guitar Hero were always about guitars and bass but then they improved it adding drums and microphone to the mix for a full band experience. Game is a lot of fun! Especially like that multiple people can play at the same time. Some songs I've never heard of, but new ones get unlocked with more play, so that's cool, too. Really like the customizations you make to your rocker. Drums and guitar could be bigger, but, then, kids would probably have a hard time, so large adults will need to get used to it. This purchase is the 3rd Guitar Hero bundle weve bought for the house overall.
Everyone plays it, the kids, the kids' friends who come over, and even my wife and I have a go at it occaisonally.
The playlist of songs is pretty incredible.
The music that my kids rock to is here, and so is the music that I rocked to back in my day, (not so long ago...ah, who am I kidding. Yeah, its been a while now! :0)
This is a great gift for anyone who loves music, loves to play music, or just wishes they were able to play musical instruments.
A pretty cool idea, and creation, is Guitar Hero.
