Customer Review: Very Solid MLB Game

This is a real solid MLB game. The controls (especially pitching) were a little tricky to get the hang of at first, but once you get it, you cant beat it. I havent played the latest (2K9) so I am not sure of the updates, but I would definately recommend this game. The minor league game play is great break from the major league team. I found that on pro difficulty setting, the computer is competetive, unlike some games. If you do not mind getting older/unupdated rosters, then pick this game up.Customer Review: Sad experience

Pitching is real cumbersome, hard to learn. Even on the easiest setting, I lost interest immediately. Graphics are so-so. Don't say I didn't warn you, this game is no improvement, and doesn't even maintain past standards of what anyone would expect out of a xbox 360 baseball game.Customer Review: Skip It

I have been a gamer for over 20 years so I can honestly say that this game is the worst piece of **** out there. Bought it as my wife loves baseball and it would be fun to play a baseball game on 360...the controls, voice acting, graphics are trash, at one point the game started to play by itself?...do not buy...don't even rent.Customer Review: I'm no expert on baseball games but I think this one's fun

Being my first-ever baseball video game, and this coming from a guy whose parents first bought him a Nintendo in 1985, I think MLB 2K8 is easy to play and realistic as all get-out. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to but I am enjoying creating and playing my own franchise and like how detailed you can get in regards to managing the team, from ticket prices to calling up kids from your AAA to A minor league teams.Customer Review: All good
